James在此次票選中分別擊敗了奧運名將Michael Phelps以及Usain Bolt，水中最快的男人以及陸地上跑最快的男人分居第2、第3名，幫助芝加哥小熊破除「山羊魔咒」，終結108年冠軍荒的三壘手Kris Bryant獲第4名，至於去年此獎項得主Stephen Curry則名列第5。

為騎士帶來隊史首冠，終結了克里夫蘭52年的職業運動冠軍荒，並多次運用自己身為超級運動明星的影響力來對社會議題表態是James獲獎主因，他一共囊括了24張第一名選票。

James在2013年時也曾獲此殊榮，今年再度得獎讓他成為繼「籃球之神」Michael Jordan後第二位獲選此獎項2次以上的NBA球員，Jordan曾在1991至1993年連續三度獲此獎項。

當歐洲陷入債務危機時，資金流入丹麥，而當瑞士取消其匯率上限時，資金也流向丹麥，而在英國公投決定脫離歐盟之後，資金亦流入丹麥。

不過由於股市高度依賴貿易，丹麥這回在川普勝選中喪失其誘惑力。丹住宿優惠斯克銀行 (Danske Bank A/S) 首席經濟學家 Las Olsen 表示，「川普的一些想法對丹麥及丹麥克朗來說有些負面。」

《彭博社》報導，丹麥股市在川普迎接勝利後下挫，由全球船運巨頭快桅 (A.P. Moller-Maersk A/S) 及發展風力發電再生能源之世界領導企業維斯塔斯 (Vestas Wind Systems A/S) 所主導的主要指數上周下滑 3.3% ，移動走勢與 MSCI 新興市場指數相同。

認為川普可能將啟動美國建設熱潮 (築牆？) ，投資人期盼通膨竄升並在上周開始減債。債券殖利率及股市主要指數一併升高。

但北歐銀行 (Nordea Bank) 警告，若川普履行競選承諾發動「貿易戰」，對丹麥將尤其衝擊，因為出口約占該國經濟產出 2 分之 1 。若川普真的實現諾言，北歐銀行估計丹麥可能將損失至少 1 萬份就業。

丹斯克銀行認為，川普政策可能將使丹麥目前貿易盈餘減少 3 分之 1 ，約占丹麥 GDP 的 6% ，此規模之轉變可能將衝擊匯率。

這代表為抗?歐元壓力的丹麥央行，將不再需要為了對抗大量資金流入而維持低利率。根據北歐銀行，隨丹麥資產吸引力下滑，投資人也認為負利率已不再值得。

日德蘭銀行 (Jyske Bank A/S) 執行長 Anders Dam 認為，川普政策可能迫使丹麥央行最早在現在開始一年左右，脫離負利率。但以目前而言，多數觀察丹麥的經濟學家仍堅持原本預測，認為負利率將持續至少到 2018 年。

主要原因是「基本上我們現在還不知道川普會如何做」，瑞典商業銀行 (Svenska Handelsbanken) 首席經濟學家 Jes Asmussen 表示，目前看來「人們似乎已忘記，川普在談論要做哪些事時，有多讓人恐慌，然後突然之間，我們又必須相信，他可能不是一位情緒易怒的群眾煽動者。」
